Things I'm Grateful
For...
Dear Friend,
Now is the time of year that people typically turn to two things...
family & friends and shopping!
With all the
craziness of "Black Friday" - with "door busters" and stores opening
at 5:00 am (I even saw a couple opening at 4 am, and one actually
opened at 3 am - CRAZY!), I thought it would be good to focus on some
of the things I'm grateful for.
We live in the most abundant country on
the planet, and with the most amazing things happening every day.
Thanks to technology, we can communicate to virtually anyone in
seconds with text messages, audio and now video - from anywhere. We
can travel to virtually anywhere on the planet in less than a day.
And we can find the answer to almost any question with a quick search
on the Internet in seconds. And we ain't seen anything yet.
But what I think is really wonderful
and truly amazing, is that we are starting to awaken as a species.
Many of us are becoming more conscious, and some of us are actually
learning to get along with one another. We are learning to be
more responsible, to pay attention to what is really important, and to
not get caught up in the drama of the media.
We are starting to reach out and connect
on a deeper level. We are learning to accept reality (the past
and the present) and to take responsibility for changing what we can
(the future). We are no longer feeling like helpless victims of
circumstance. And we are reaching out to share this message with
others.
I personally am very grateful for this
continuing process of awakening and for those on the same path who
assist me on the journey.
And I'm also grateful for the incredible
gifts of nature that we can enjoy without having to do a thing.
The sun shines, whether we do anything or not. The air is there.
Gravity works. And the flowers bloom. And there is nothing
required of us, except to enjoy it.
Take time to enjoy these gifts and to
share your awareness of them with everyone you know. Together we
are making a difference.
