Your market consists of the people who need and
want the things we have to offer (our philosophy, products, opportunity, etc.) Millions of people are looking for what we have to
offer. Our job is simply to let them know that what they are looking for
is available to them through Shaklee.
NOTE: Because we do business by the Golden
Rule, we will not be pressuring or "pitching" anyone, so you can be confident that
those we approach will enjoy our interactions with them.
There are
four categories
of people who are
looking for what we have to offer. There many different ways
you can approach each of them that you will be introduced to during your first hands-on training appointment.
Plan to spend about 2 hours completing the following
action steps in preparation for your first training session.
ACTION STEPS:
-
Understand that you will not be pushing Shaklee on to people. In fact, you will not
even be discussing it unless they have told you that they have a reason they want to
know about it.
Learn about the 3-Step Inviting Process
you will be using.
-
Learn how to
Never Hear "NO" again.
-
Go thru the Shaklee University module on
list. Print out the narrative and highlight important points.
-
Read and complete pages 14-15 of the
Shaklee
Training Manual.
-
List all
the people you know. This includes friends and family, and your personal contacts
(including co-workers, associates, people
with common interests, friends of friends, etc.) Do not
qualify or disqualify anyone. Simply write their name down. Use this
memory jogger to help you identify your already existing network of contacts.
If you already have an existing contact database (like
Microsoft Outlook or other email address book), a social network (such as Facebook),
or a Holiday Greeting Card List, include those contacts in the list you create.
If your list is over 300 names, we will help you decide how to break it down
at your first training session.
NOTE: As you
will soon see, we may or may not
end up presenting Shaklee to the people
on this list, but as part of your business strategizing process, it is important to identify those who may be within (or
near) your sphere of influence.
OPTIONAL STEP:
If you would like, you can also begin to list the ideal characteristics of
the people you'd like
as your ideal customers and business partners. This will help you begin to
learn who you are looking for. (Make sure to discuss this with your coach.)
Do not proceed to
the next step until you have discussed the above with your coach. You will be
performing the next step with your coach at your first hands-on training session.
